Lorelei is a 12-year-old ballet dancer with the Russian Choreographic Academy, and a client of Aligned For Life Pilates. She has now been dancing since the age of 2, and has fallen in love with the art of movement, showing her dedication to her goals and aspirations at such a young age.
Lorelei began training with AFLP founder Katrina Edwards in 2021, after hearing some wonderful praise for the studio and Katrina herself, as well as some hip pain she experienced whilst dancing. Lorelei decided to continue her sessions in order to achieve her goals in classical ballet, and she felt that each session helped her understand her body more in her dance classes.

Q: what is your name, age, and where do you dance?
A: I’m Lorelei, I’m 12, and I dance at the Russian Choreographic Academy.
Q: Why did you begin classes at AFLP?
A: I had problems with my hips and they used to crack all the time in ballet class, and were very sore and painful. I decided to come here as I heard great things about Aligned For Life and great things about Ms. Edwards.
Q: How long have you been dancing and doing Pilates?
A: I’ve been dancing since around 2/3 and started Pilates when I was 9.
Q: Why did you keep coming back to AFLP?
A: I decided to keep coming back because I feel like it has helped me a lot in class and to keep going towards my goals in ballet. It is also such a fun place to work in and the people are so nice.
Q: Why did you choose to become a brand ambassador for AFLP?
A: I decided to become a brand ambassador for AFLP because it’s an amazing opportunity for me, and an amazing environment to work in and to get stronger. I think overall it just really helps me in class to understand my body and to just keep getting stronger.
